Einstein puzzle is a free cross-platform open source remake of old DOS game Sherlock which was inspired by Albert Einstein's puzzle. Einstein said that only those with an intelligence quotient of 98 percentile and higher should be able to solve it. The game goal is to open all cards in square of 6x6 cards. For this, a number of hints describing relations between card positions are given. Use them to find the correct layout. Einstein 2.0 features sound support, full internalization, Russian localization, reengineered resource subsystem to allow custom graphics themes and in-game rules browser. Previously, the project was located on http://games.flowix.com/en/index.html Now this resource available only through http://web.archive.org
I'm trying to compile this and have worked through all of the easy dependency issues, i think.
now the main error is related to not being able to find SDL
widgets.cpp:(.text+0x3767): undefined reference to SDL_CreateRGBSurface' and so on for many errors iconset.cpp:(.text+0x680): undefined reference to SDL_FreeSurface'
the main reason i want to compile from source is that i want to change the icons.
also, the mkres directory is completely confusing. is it a fix for everything? copy the files into the main directory?
This is a great game you've got here and I made the mistake of showing it to my dad and now he lves it. What he doesn't love is how it breaks our viewer system. Specifically, when the game opens normally, it's too small for him to easily see and too easy to miss-click. If we set it to full screen it causes other issues.
He likes to, as I do, watch and listen to youtube and similar on a second screen, but when you select fullscreen it forces the display settings to mirror which means he cant do anything else on the other screen. Is there any way you could make the game resizable or even just make it so that it doesnt force the display to mirror?

Actually I don't have any issues with this game, but since there does not seem to be any other way to comment on it, I decided to do so through the Issues system. Just wanted to say this game is really great. I spent a lot of hours playing it. Thanks a lot for making this wonderful little game.
