Short answer: you should use paramA=refA
instead of paramB="{refB}"
.
The A case, we are pointing to refA, while in B we are asking for string
interpolation.
There are two methods that are available: tap
get
. Tap is a method
provided by chunk and get is a method provided by context. Tap works great
when dealing with the output of the templates, useful for working with the
output buffer. Get gives us just a lookup of the context.
It looks like we've been promoting tap for everything since it usually gets
us what we want which is the value of some template reference but context
get seems more appropriate here since we are not after the output of the
template paramB="{refB}"
.
We need a better way to do this for sure.
