Usage

  1. Copy your SSH Keys

  2. Install Homebrew and git following official docs

    brew install git

  3. Install chezmoi

    sh -c "$(curl -fsLS get.chezmoi.io)" -- -b $HOME/.local/bin

Tip

You Might need to run export PATH=$HOME/.local/bin:$PATH to add chezmoi to path

Note

We are not using --init flag with chezmoi to have more control over the setup process

  1. Init chezmoi

    chezmoi init [email protected]:limonkufu/dotfiles.git

  2. Apply

    chezmoi apply

  3. Login to applications

  4. Run these manually for now for WSL2:

fish_add_path $HOME/.local/bin/
fish_add_path /home/linuxbrew/.linuxbrew/bin
sudo apt update && sudo apt install locales
sudo locale-gen en_GB.UTF-8

TODO

  • Add more documentation on customisation
  • Setup fonts
  • Migrate to chezmoi's run_ syntax instead of setup.sh files
  • (internal) Document this in PKB
