Common Documentation aims to create a central place to put documentation for everything programming related. It wants to provide a central place for everybody to look up solutions for problems with programming libraries, programming languages, common tools and programs and linux related stuff.

The project gets its value by its users. Whenever they come across an issue with something they can't find a solution for here, they add the solution they found on the internet to this documentation collection, either by just linking to the page providing the solution, or by providing a tutorial with the links that helped them to create this solution.
