Can you create a list of free nntp servers? Look up google. You can test they work by putting the URL in the server field on the app. Currently list has 2 in there but you can edit the box and type your own

add the dos2unix issue to the page you have created with the port 119 issue

In my eclipse with Emma plugin it also happens.

Want to remove the Apache code and use a jar from maven instead

When someones firewall blocks port 119 the app says "no internet connection".

This is misleading. It needs to say "port 119 is blocked. See wiki for help."

In the download panel is a hard coded list of servers. We should put that in a properties file
