Concern

The learning would indicate that the TERMINAL is the only way to execute SQL which is obviously not true based on the way servers work of course. Languages like Python, Java, and others can interact with databases too.

However, for our purposes, we could execute an SQL file against a database by opening the database in the DB Browser, then in the Execute SQL tab, click open SQL file, this will then load the SQL file into the DB Browser, then click EXECUTE or the Play Button.

TO EXECUTE SQL IN THE DB BROWSER FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
However, for our purposes, we could execute an SQL file against a database by:

1. opening the database in the DB Browser,
2. then in the Execute SQL tab,
3. click open SQL file, this will then load the SQL file into the DB Browser,
4. then click EXECUTE or the Play Button.
