lis3dh-motion-detection's Issues

low power not really low power

ive read the datasheet for the LIS3DH and it claims it can run in low power mode down to about 2uA at 1Hz, but when setting it at 1hz i get about 700+uA when measuring it on a power profiler. is there some setting im not aware of that is affecting this?

this is being ran on custom hardware that pulls 22uA in deepsleep by itself, but when adding the LIS3DH it jumps to 700+uA in deepsleep. so the LIS3DH is pulling 700+ uA by itself.

just curious if im missing something or if there is a limitation with this code?

i should add the LIS3DH is on bare hardware. just the chip and one 10k resistor pulling the CS pin high for I2C mode. setting the CS pin LOW doesnt affect this power drawl.

What's the difference?

Is it possible to detect in which direction an object is moving with this library?
Let's say I was only concerned with one axis: X.
Could I use this library to detect in which direction along the X axis the object was moving?
How would I go about this?
