currently you need to pick a coordinate. it would be nice to enable the search also with missing coordinates so this would enable a real overlooking catalog.

in the current release you need to click on every item separately. I would like to be able to select all items in the result list,

to capture a point coordinate I need to click the button twice.
Should work with one "activation" click.

Everytime I close QGIS with the plugin installed QGIS crashes.
QGIS version: 3.4, platform: Windows 7
After deinstallation of FindDataset QGIS does not crash on closing.

unsure whether qgis-finddataset-plugin-master is a good nem|dir.
probably better changing it to simply finddataset

As you do have the field to show coordinates I would prefer to show them in EPSG4326 and not in tha map CRS.
What is your opinion on this @lcalisto ?

For the time being the tools offers the search function in folders. It would be great to have a similar functionality for databases like PostGIS

It would be a nice option to export the find results as a polygon layer:
spatial extend of finds as a rectangle, name, path, and concatenated list of fields as well as other data as attributes.
This would makes it easy to create a somewhat data catalog of all the datasets on your folder for easy search and spatial selection options.

currently your're offering point based search. What about using a bbox extent to search in as well?
