Currently this is being handled with an unattended build from a source tarball. Debian negates the need for this (part of the selling point). Install is already taken care of.

• add futel specific config files
• clean out sample configs

There are several system services that need configuration setup.

• logwatch
• logrotate
• postfix
• sshd
• more?

Currently the default is autoload, this results in a ton of log and console spam for modules that we do not need or are not using.

Currently we are just dumping a snapshot of post config(from years past) asterisk into place at /etc/asterisk. We do not need to enable all of the features that are here and this is just clutter. There is something like 64 config files in the asterisk tree, almost all of which are unused.

Brand new POC needs basics taken care of:

• base box chosen
• upgrade
• users
• packages (initial packages for now)
• distro asterisk package
