dot-emacs's Issues

I backed up my old .emacs.d dir ,and copy all files to .emacs.d dir, When I start a new compiled emacs(25.1) in Mac os, It shows error:
Warning (initialization): An error occurred while loading โ€˜~/.emacs.d/init.elโ€™:

cycle-themes issue

Hi Lars,

Thanks for sharing your dot-emacs configurations, I like it so much! :)

I am currently running 64 bit Emacs v24.5 on windows, I've encountered a little issue for the cycle-themes function located in the Visual section, it just doesn't show up in the Emacs Commands list (M-x) even though I have tried to evaluate it manually. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks to advise!

custom key binding overrides the multiple-cursor default one

Good afternoon Lars,

Another question if you don't mind. :)

I would actually like to preserve the default multiple-cursor keybindings for the following Tips and Tricks explained at https://github.com/magnars/multiple-cursors.el:

"Sometimes you end up with cursors outside of your view. You can scroll the screen to center on each cursor with C-v and M-v or you can press C-' to hide all lines without a cursor, press C-' again to unhide."

I feel like this would be a pretty useful feature and I have noticed that the KEY "C-'" has been overridden in your custom-bindings-map with er/expand-region, how can I manage to restore the default key-bindings for multiple-cursor in my private.el file? or maybe there is another way to do it?

Thanks to advise!

Best regards,

multiple smaller config files

Hi,

I'm trying to create my own config and am trying to learn from other people's configs. I was wondering if it is possible to set up multiple smaller config files ('.org') and then somehow collate them into the real 'init.el'. So far, I haven't seen any configs which do this, which is weird, as it can allow you to really modularise the packages. For instance, if I use, say, mu4e. You can have all the config in a .org file, and then, when you want to run sessions without the mu4e config, you simply comment out the import of the relevant config org file.

Any tips in this regard, or perhaps blogs/configs that I should look at?

Also, sorry for posing it as an issue - it is obviously not. I couldn't find any other way of asking you!

Cheers
