Adjust the docs script to use redis vars for the 'default_version'. This will let us update these docs once more and from then on we can adjust the current version via redis instead of modifying the script directly when new versions come out.

Markov chains make for great entertainment when it comes to chat bots, and could be something to implement for private messages.

These bots basically learn from existing text (either pre-loaded or from messages received via chat) and construct new ones based on patterns found in existing text.

This might be a lot of work if there aren't any existing libraries for it out there, and is not part of core functionality.

Update Liobot to be able to get the "jump to" links from the Google Search.

Will have to change from api search to regular google search like Rommie.

This will allow us to have our !docs requests also return the #anchors of the subsections.

Image search API seems to be discontinued, after being deprecated since 2011.

Alternative appears to be the Custom Search API, which shows up in the Google Developers dashboard thingy, so I'm guessing it'll require credentials. If it does, you may/may not be able to use the same ones as for the Youtube script. They're likely to be API-specific, though, so it might need new keys generated.

Seem to recall seeing a 'filetype' parameter (or similar) which could be used to make it return images. Haven't seen any solid examples pointing specifically to image searches though.

Some users still want Rommie's ability to fetch Stack Overflow links so we're going to add that back in. The main poller can just be extended to use SO rather than L.io

Working on ways to get more information about users from hubot. Need to tighten up the ACL and how the access works.
There is some auth system built into hubot, could be interesting.

Hey @lagbox @s-e. I'd like to consolidate some things for laravel.io and transfer this repo out of this organisation. Can I transfer it to one of you two?

I've just renamed the default branch to "main" to have the same default branching convention across the organisation. This also brings it in pair with Github's new defaults.

Can we bump any of these versions, especially hubot-irc?

Identify when users are posting the same question repeatedly and frequently, and respond appropriately to them. There should be no need for anyone to repeat their question within 10 minutes of originally asking.

Remembering the last message by each user should be enough to make the check.

I think people expect it to return the top result not a random one from 15 possible results ?

I know when I use it I am expecting the top result for my search.

Any thoughts?
