After learning from a classmate's speech on cash UC Davis student hunger problem that the current number has reached nearly half of all students, Jason, the founder of the WMF organization, wanted to help solve this problem by establishing a non-profit organization. On top of the original intention of establishing the organization, Mr. Mindy, who has been volunteering at IUSD for ten years, also joined WMF after learning about the organization through Jason. Under the contact of Mr. Mindy, Xiaoya from HIS, MAX from Portola and Eddie from Harvard also joined WMF one after another.
