Day.js with all plugins and locales added out of the box, no need to use dayjs.extend nor dayjs.locale!

Install

npm:

npm install dayjs dayjs-with-plugins

Usage

Node

const dayjs = require('dayjs-with-plugins');

console.log('M/D/YY', dayjs().format('M/D/YY'));

Browser

VanillaJS

This is the solution for you if you're just using <script> tags everywhere!

Required Browser Features

We recommend using https://polyfill.io (specifically with the bundle mentioned in VanillaJS above):

  • Promise is not supported in op_mini all

Bundler

This assumes you are using browserify, webpack, rollup, or another bundler.

See Node usage above for how to use in a bundler environment.

Debugging

You can use NODE_DEBUG=dayjs-with-plugins node app.js to debug output from this package.

Careful: BadMutable [1.0.2]

This project is great and worked out of the box.

However, please consider removing BadMutable from the list of plugins.

It breaks the immutability of dayjs objects:

// node.js
const dayjs = require('dayjs-with-plugins') // introduces mutability
//const dayjs = require('dayjs') // uncomment to compare

const now = dayjs();
const tomorrow = now.add(1, 'day');

console.log(now); // << might not be expect

I assume BadMutable is just one of the plugins and it's just there but as it changes such a fundamental concept of dayjs that it would be nice to get at least a little hint.

Personally I would vote to drop the plugin.

Types?

There are no types available in this package and @types/dayjs-with-plugins is also not available.

Do you not consider TS relevant, or are you expecting people to somehow reuse the original types from dayjs?
