itiriri-async's Issues

map an asynchronous function?

The type of .map() is

(selector: (x: T) => S): AsyncIterableQuery<S>

but I would have expected

(selector: (x: T) => Promise<S>): AsyncIterableQuery<S>

allowing the transformation of each element to be asynchronous.

Maybe there's a way to pull this off using .flat() but I can't seem to make it work. Any ideas?

group or chunk

Do you have plans to have a group or chunk function? Something like:

async function* generator() {
  yield* [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7];
}

(async function () {
  const q = await itiririAsync(generator()).chunk(3).awaitAll();
  q.toArray();   // returns [[1,2,3],[4, 5, 6],[7]]
})();

tslib dependency should not be in devDependencies

When installing production-only dependencies for our app, we use npm install --production, which does not install devDependencies neither for our app or any of our app's dependencies such as itiriri-async. But the thing is, itiriri-async lists tslib as a devDependency. tslib is the typescript runtime, so it should be a production dependency. In fact, our app fails to run unless we install tslib separately ourselves becausee of this.
