click-to-close-overview's Issues

Not clickable in some regions

Some regions are not clickable, I marked them here:
Screenshot from 2021-01-06 18-20-42

When no window is open on that workspace, the left and top areas are clickable, just not with a window.

Cannot click to close some application folder in GNOME 46

image

Just upgraded from ubuntu 23.10 to 24.04. Don't know what is affecting the behavior. For example, I cannot click to close "系统" if I open it. However, I can click to close "工具". To solve this, I have to drag all apps out and recreate the application folder.

Also, "预览" used to work, but after the recreation of “工具”, it doesn't work now.

Improve interaction with Desktop Cube

Desktop Cube allows you to click and drag the overview to switch workspaces. Currently, this extension takes away that feature of Desktop Cube, because clicking always closes the overview.

I don't know how they did it, but Dash to Panel solves the problem. The extension has a setting Behavior > Overview > Click empty space to close overview, which if enabled, does what it says but still lets you interact with Desktop Cube normally.

Can you checkout how they did it and bring it to your extension?
