openproject-translations is an OpenProject plugin, which adds more languages to your OpenProject installation.

This plugin uses crowdin for translations. All translations are fetched from our crowding project on a daily basis. If you want to change translations, you are very welcome to do so via crowdin.

Please keep in mind that the OPF team does not speak all the languages this plugin provides, thus we cannot guarantee the correctness of translations.

We plan to release this plugin every time an OpenProject core release is done.

Beware:

• when translating general_lang_name do not translate the word 'English', but fill in the name of the language you are currently translating
• We are affected by a missing crowdin feature. Therefore we can only partly translate plural forms with crowdin. To change that you may write crowdin or vote for the missing feature on uservoice. To work around this problem we currently use english translations where crowdin cannot give us a translation.
• This plugin adds translations for the OpenProject core, but not for plugins. If you want a plugin translated to your language, please contact the plugin maintainer.

• OpenProject version 3.0.0 or higher ( or a current installation from the dev branch)

Edit the Gemfile.plugins file in your openproject-installation directory to contain the following lines:

gem "openproject-translations", :git => 'https://github.com/opf/openproject-translations.git', :branch => 'stable'

Then update your bundle with the following commands executed from your openproject directory:

bundle install
bundle exec rake assets:precompile

and restart the OpenProject server.

• stable: Contains the latest stable release that we recommend for production use. Use this if you always want the latest version of this plugin together with the stable branch of the OpenProject core.
