Incorrect number of cases

Some countries cases are much lower than what they should be. The info given from the api is correct, so it may be a bug related to d9cc156

Decrease load times

The load times currently are very long, and the UI gives no indication as to what is happening.

There should be either a loading screen of sorts, or decrease the load time by not loading everything all at once

Improve error handling

Currently when main.js runs, and goes to fetch the data from the api, it has no error handling. If there is an error the user will not know what is happening.

Sort countries by cases

Currently the API is https://corona.lmao.ninja/countries and it displays China as being last, I think we should use the following for the API instead https://corona.lmao.ninja/countries?sort=cases this will ensure that the countries are displayed in the correct order.

Global stats

I think the first card you see, should be the global stats for the virus. It could maybe show some of the following:

  • Heading: Global
  • Total Cases/Deaths
  • New Cases/Deaths
  • Recovered
