To use this plugin, Please install San Francisco font and Material Icons font (.ttf).

Usage

  1. Find the symbol you want to use
  2. Click the symbol

Click Options

  • Copy: copy symbol glyph to clipboard
  • Copy&Paste: copy and paste symbol glyph to selected text objects
  • Create: create new symbol glyph as a text object on the canvas

Option to insert as shape?

Could you add an option to insert the icon as a flattened shape in a frame set to a fixed size?

e.g.

  • add icon at the set font size with layer named as "{icon name} shape"
  • flatten to shape
  • put in a frame based on settings or font size (24 font size = 24x24 frame) with frame named as "{icon name}"

SF Symbols 2

Anyone figure out how to get SF Symbols 2 into this?

Use icon names as layer names

When I insert an icon, it has the character as the layer name. You should be able to rename the layer as the name of the icon.
