Hi.

I am using the latest version of AccentColorizer. When I select a file or folder, its selection box doesn't colorize to the accent color as shown in the image, and only colorize the name of the file/folder.

Using the light mode it works without problem, but in the dark mode what I mentioned above happens. Any solution to make it work smoothly in dark mode or should it come in the next version of AccentColorizer?

Can you please make the colors of prgress bar a bit lighter. As you can see in the screenshot, the purple color looks like dark blue in Progress bar. Please make its color some lighter so that it can match with the accent color. It will definitely enhance the look of it.

You also need to colorize the Address Bar color also. It works but if we use arrow keys to select items, it won't work. I think that windows have 2 different boxes for both mouse and keyboard use. Please fix this bro.

I've made a Issue regarding this and you have implemented it. But you haven't implemented it completely and leave it half-way. Pease bro, complete it in next version.

I tried to install AccentColorizer on my Windows 11 (22621.1028)
I runned Install.cmd as administrator I receive this

"lib.cmd" is not recognized as an internal or external command, an executable program or batch file.

Would it be possible to implement something that also colours the context menus if you use a custom theme?
I mean since it already colours the custom themed buttons:

/d also changes the drive. This is needed if the installer is run from outside of the C: drive, otherwise it throws an error and doesn't launch the application after installing

I think opening the theme data with OpenThemeDataForDpi would work.

Is there any way to use the progress bar colorization for every progress bar except the disk capacity bar.??
like I want to colorize all the progress bar but not the disk capacity bar (it should always be blue) as the color is not optimized well to use it on disk capacity bar.

I tried running AccentColorizer on Windows 11 latest build and it did absolutely nothing. There was no UI and the only thing I could see in was that Task Manager showed it running and apparently running at every startup. I also didn't see any way to uninstall it. Any help would be appreciated.

There are some programs that have "windows within their windows" (sometimes erroneously called "subwindows" or "child windows", their proper name is "Multiple Document Interface" ["MDI"]) and as you can see in the examples below, Windows 10 displays those windows with a blue-gray color.
Would it be possible to color them with Windows accent color?

Accent Colorizer should also colorize the text and the icons. As an example, I'm showing it in Control Panel.

I think that it is possible to colorize these also. It is also available on Win10 for your convinience. Please try to update the AC as it is a long time since it was updated. Add these in next update.

One thing that sticks out is how the start menu icon is the same color and especially if you are trying to make your experience revolve around one color, it really sticks out and looks out of place. Normally the icon can’t be customized, but with Open Shell it can, making the experience a lot more consistent. This should only be activated when it detects that Open Shell is installed.

1. There is a issue or bug that it doesn't colorize the address bar (menu appear after clicking the drop down arrow). It colorize the address bar but not the drop-down menu. Same this also doesn't work in save/open with dialog boxes. And the text box (where we type the name of file to be saved) drop-down menu also doesn't colorize. They always be blue.
2. The progress bar of copy/paste dialog box doesn't matches the accent color when clicked on "show more" button. The detailed progress bar (where progress goes like the heart rate machine ). It always be green.

Please fix these issues in next update.

They are just stored in C:\Windows\SystemApps\MicrosoftWindows.Client.Core_cw5n1h2txyewy\FileExplorerExtensions\Assets\images\contrast-standard
as svg files.
So it should be possible to make it follow the accent color

The final accentcolorizer version where this bug doesn't exist is v1.1.14 which I'm stuck with it right now.

When running accent colorizer it works fine for applications, but on progress application in taskbar it does not change its color (check the photo attached)

This will be the enhancement for Accent Colorizer. It should also colorize the things in Properties tab also.

Is there any way or plans for hooking AccentColorizer with explorer like SAB has did. Becoz sometimes it takes long to autostart and sometimes won't work like after intalling Rectify11. So, it would be great if it is possible to do this.

Bcoz SAB doesn't provide the progress bar colorization feature with its implementation. And, it will solve colorization issues with many locations in explorer.

It would be graet if it is planned in future.

The color is not applied to address bar "breadcrumbs" or scroll bar buttons when the "Aero Lite" theme is used.

hey! after installing almost everything was colored except for the selection in file explorer even though the pictures you provided it shows them colored.

This is more Vanilla friendly, but if the default cursor is used, it should recolor the ones that are not colored, (Busy, Background and another one that I can’t remember), to the accent color, which would make things feel more consistent.

This really sticks out and annoys me so I would really love it if this got implemented

1. Is it possible to colorize the Shortcut arrow and Compressed icon?? I think that it is a bitmap.

2. The outline of a buttons should also be Colorized.
   

3. Hovering over any file / folder should not be Blue. It should change color like it changes after selecting a file.

Whenever I am running AccentColorizer, the storm color shows as orange in window elements?

I've found that the selections are too bright. At least for the color that I have as accent color.

Selected Accent Color in settings (HEX 338582):

AccentColorizer Selection (HEX 48d1c9):

WinUI Selection (Same HEX than selected in settings):

This makes colors inconsistent with other colors on Windows.

There is a issue that the AccentColorizer doesn't colorize the disk progress bar in Win11 after moment 2 update. It is still colorizing the other apps progress bar but not the disk progress bar. Please check this issue out. This is not also colorizing the progress bar of Move/Copy dialog box.

something is definitely wrong. accent applicator worked great but accent colorzer dyed my ui color RED like bf1818, d40000. where is config? where is restre to default? even winpallette cant undo this corrupted color. swear, i never used red accent color since install windows. if you cant help about this problem, teach me how this app works, please. ill revert it manually via regedit.

P.S. E11 works but how to restore to default? he brought disappointing result.

So these bars aren't colorized (everything else works as expected though, even other progress bars) disk bars progress bar

1. Setup a profile with name "First Last"
2. Try running the install script.
3. Script fails, and instead of you have a folder "Last" in the folder with the script files.
4. Additionally, it fails to detect whether it is x64 or x86.

On the Aerolite visual style, the scrollbar is in color. I think this is also the case on Windows 7 and 8, but I'm not sure (except for the aerolite visual style on Windows 8, where it's sure). This is just the highlighted scrollbar. An example :
