Yeah, I'd prefer a --hold-on-error
or --hold error
option, it's much more accessible and you already have a --hold
, especially because your proposed workaround can get nasty with quoting and passing arguments. Consider something like this:
kitty sh -c "env SECRETDATA='$PWD/secrets' run-someting $@ || read"
How do I even correctly quote the "$@"
when one of the arguments may contain spaces nested quotes? ${@@Q}
? A kitty-option would be so much easier.
