URLs with IPv6 addresses are not recognized about kitty HOT 3 CLOSED

Not something I am interested in fixing. [ and ] are not valid
characters in any part of the URL other than the hostname. See
https://url.spec.whatwg.org/#url-code-points So to support this, the
code would need to keep track of which part of the URL it is in, which is a
lot of code complication for something most people will never use. That
said, patches are welcome, relevant code is in line.c the
line_url_start_at function.

And I see what you mean, it would indeed add a bit of complexity there.

I couldn't come up with a quick patch, but I'm adding a note to my backlog.
