Hi,

I tried to use within another project rss-merger, and, at first, I tried to use your online service with this url: http://www.devtacular.com/utilities/atomtorss/?url=https%3a%2f%2fgithub.com%2ftaophp.atom which I loaded with simplexml_load_file() in my own script.
So, I got this error:

PHP Warning:  simplexml_load_file(): http://www.devtacular.com/utilities/atomtorss/?url=https%3a%2f%2fgithub.com%2ftaophp.atom:1: parser error : Document labelled UTF-16 but has UTF-8 content

I may have a look myself to your script and eventually make a pull-request if I succeed.
