Funny story, sometimes photogs don't always center the subject. Currently the left crop and right crop are the same, which doesn't work so well if the subject is, say, on the left of the image. Making the right crop optional allows for removal of the left side of the image without also removing the subject that's on the right side.

this should check whether an image is horizontal or vertical. It currently works well for vert, needs to work as well for horiz.

Does pillow allow for adding text to images? I'm sure the photogs would appreciate credits on their works, even if they're not willing to make their photos IG compatible.

If an unprocessed image in the collection is already square, skip the cropping steps but do save it to the same dir as the rest of the photos. Do include the prefix so it's clear that it's been run through the cropper tool.
