PBNS: Pushbullet Notifications via D-BUS

PBNS is an application that uses the pushbullet.py module by @randomchars to integrate Pushbullet notifications and pushes into your desktop. It forwards both mirrored notifications and regular text pushes (such as from chat messages) to D-Bus so that they show up via your regular notifications daemon.

Why

The motivation behind the development of this app was to experiment with the Pushbullet API, so I could integrate the notifications with my desktop.

How to run

pip install requirements.txt
git clone htts://github.com/kiike/pbns
source $YOUR_VIRTUALENV/bin/activate
python $CLONE_DIR/pbns.py

Config file instead of individual files

Implement ConfigParser for configuration through INI file instead of current individual files.

Pushes that link to files mke the listener output a traceback

Receiving a push that links to a file makes the app output a traceback. It continues to function but the push should be disregarded.

Find a better icon

The current project logo, which is used as the app icon, is pretty ugly at the moment. I don't have the artistic skills to make one, so I should find a new one.

support for actions in notifications

Hi there, thank you for writing this. I think it might be just what I'm looking for.

Do you know if pbns is expected to support actions on notifications?

The pushbullet feature list calls this "Mirrored notification action support", available for pro accounts only. But I'm not sure how these appear in the python API you're using here, or how dbus provides for actions.

I thought I better check before I try and debug things. Thank you!
