Should forward refs

This can be solved using Reacts forwardRef

Could default to to have no fade either on Android nor iOS! facebook/react-native#10194

Consistent <Picker/>

The pickers look very differently on iOS and Android, and in my opinion, it looks much better on iOS. Most problematically, the components have a different height.

My idea would be to create an Android counterpart that looks the same using Reanimated.

Consistent dismissal behavior for Alert.alert()

I feel like it is okay that the alerts look differently on iOS and Android, I would not change it visually.

When tapping outside of the alert, the alert gets dismissed on Android but not on iOS:

I would make it so that the alert is not dismissable by default, because I suspect that many React Native developers develop on iOS and do not consider the case that on Android the prompt is dismissable.
