mini-github's Issues

Bug: limited length of message

LOL I wanna say "BTW this message is sent from mini-github app" but I can input any more words... :joy

Looks like there's a maximum length of comment message. (140-ish) -- or perhaps caused by other issues.

Another UI issue related to comment is that when a comment is posted, it's shown comment po... instead of comment posted in my iPhone 7.

Bug: priority conflict between link and checkbox

When clicking link such as:

it will do two things:

  • uncheck/check the box
  • copy the link

this behavior might be unexcepted.

I guess there're two types of links here: supported link that can be jumped to, and unsupported link that can't. This behavior only happens to the supported links.

What's the feed content with user logged out?

I thought the feed page should contain nothing or "login to get news" (BTW I prefer the name News to Feed), but it actually contains some relatively meaningless content.

Close this issue if it's your deliberately designed behavior.

Enhancement: support re-edit

We can reply to an issue/PR, and I like the way we edit messages.

However, currently, we can't re-edit or modify the contents of the sent messages.

新功能上线提示功能

目前小程序升级是用户无感的,很多重要功能升级,用户不感知,

举个例子:
比如主题功能上线,在 setting 里面,很多用户如果没有探索到这个页面,压根不知道主题还可以切换~

UI: add avatar attribute to list item

It might be more descriptive if we add the user/organization avatar to items in Issues, PRs or Trends lists.

But I'm not sure if this would dramatically increase network incoming, in which case this harms the performance.

UI: badge size

Badges in README.md aren't displayed appropriately; they're too big.

UI: words Incorrect

Under News Modules, we can see a link which called "Sign In to Seee My News" on the top, Should it be called "Sign In to See My News", is it a type error?

What access permissions are necessary for login with token?

I'd like to try this mini program but I'm not sure what access permissions should I give when creating a new token https://github.com/settings/tokens/new.
All checked seems to be overkill.

My guess is:

  • Repo: all
  • user: all
  • notification: all

But looks like it's not enough, at least the issue list is not displayed normally; only several outdated issues are listed. -- not sure if this is a bug or caused by wrong token settings.

Bug: `star` counts

When you hit the star button, there'll be a delay before the status update of star icon.
Now, if you hit star button again during this period, the counts become incorrect; it either increases or decreases two times.

Enhancement: tag or change items in "Closed PRs" list

The current closed PRs list doesn't offer much information because Closed PR is a superset of Merged PR. Take the screenshot as an example: which PRs are closed and which PRs are merged?

A simple and effective solution to this is to list only non-merged closed PRs in the "Closed PRs" list.

Another solution is to tag each item with merged or closed

Bug: notification type restriction

Currently, a new tag will be shown in the notification page, however, clicking it leads to a status!=200 error. The icon for tag type notification isn't correct either.

Support bookmarking repositories

currently we have no easy access to frequently used repositories, so adding a functionality to "add this to bookmark" would be useful

目前没有方便的方式访问经常访问的 repo,需要添加一个 “添加到收藏夹/书签” 的功能

UI: delete/move "没有更多" label

I don't think there's a need to show this "没有更多" label in the bottom, instead, you could:

  • loading more items when scrolling up, and display "没有更多" when there's no more messages -- looks like you haven't implemented a pagination thing, right?
  • instead, add an "edit" or "new message" line of button(s) at the bottom

BTW, perhaps you forgot to change "没有更多" to "no more messages" -- I see a trend in using English instead of Chinese.
