This is a fair point - I have made a few changes that have changed the generated file output. However I would like to view these changes as "converging to an optimal file" so the frequency of them should decline over time.
I'm loath to include a version number in the file because this would introduce even more incompatibility issues than already exist.
I recommend vendoring go-bindata in whatever project you're using it with - that way you can ensure everyone on the team has the same version.
