currently using something like

let obj = {};
obj[key] = value;

but can actually just do (as of ECMA2015 i think)

let obj = { [key] : value };

current behavior: if i can trade with the bank at a 4-to-1 rate and i offer 5-to-1, the game engine will accept the 5-to-1 trade

desired behavior: reject these "suboptimal trades" with the same message as if i had offered 3-to-1

refreshing the screen adds one to the "currently online" list

• make wheat port more yellow

• add the header keepalive_timeout = 200
• use nginx for
  • compression
  • caching
  • load balancing
• add database roles

when control shifts to the user or new message, flash the window.title

admin functionality is broken for most "commands"

on /play pages, username should be colored based on "in-game" color rather than the string->hex hash color

• some sort of authentication scheme
• should have an endpoint for GET/POST as well as socket.io connections

have run into issue on the "second turn" a couple times ... seems like it follows this pattern

• player X creates game
• 3 other players join, player Y launches the game
• order is randomized (presumably?)
• player X always goes first
• "first turn" goes fine
• the first 2 "second turns" go fine
• game shows game.state.currentPlayerID = -3 or something like that, can only be fixed by editing the DB directly

Hi! Always nice to see someone else making a cool implementation :). What about https://github.com/generateui/jsettlers-web (by me). Could we join forces and make something nice?

• command line based
• login via http(s)
• "/play" actions should handled via either http(s) or socket.io connections (both?)
• should be used as the backbone for an eventual AI implementation
