Hey @kdltr, I did some work to port cairo to CHICKEN 5 (landakram#1), but I just realized you had already done this over here 😄

In any case, my original goal was to port doodle (started here: landakram/doodle#1), which depends on both cairo and sdl-gfx (which is also not ported). Between landakram#1 and landakram#2, csc no longer complains about cairo related errors when I try to compile doodle -- just sdl-gfx stuff. I'm hoping to get to sdl-gfx next. I mirrored it here but I haven't started.

There are some slight differences between our ports. In particular, I kept the cairo- prefix and dropped the ! suffixes to keep some level of backward compatibility with the CHICKEN 4 version (goal was minimizing errors when compiling doodle). In addition, I exposed the enums since they were exposed in CHICKEN 4 and doodle relies on them. I also added a small test based on the wiki example and a few more missing functions that were present in the old version.

I'd love to combine forces! If you're interested, what do you think is the best way to do that?
