Currently ls only lists entries from the past day or so, which makes it annoying to use after a weekend or any other period without time entries. It's also pretty slow.

A simple fix would be to extend how far back ls goes. Unfortunately, this slows it down even more. My current plan is to extend how far back it goes, but also add some caching of its results to address the speed issue.

This does raise the possibility of showing the user out-of-date results, though. For example, an entry might be deleted or modified, but would remain in the cached ls results. So it'll need some careful thought about when/how to refresh the cache.
