griddit is a simple interface for image-based subreddits providing emphasis on images instead of their captions.
To get started, simply search for a subreddit. Best results when the subreddit has a lot of images.

Currently, they show up, then hide and then fade in.
Only the top bar loads in Firefox 29.0.1
Typing a subreddit name in the bar does not change anything.
The page consumes an ungodly amount of memory (even with static images let alone GIFs) and literally becomes unusable* after a few scroll deltas.
*Chrome becomes sluggish and virtually unresponsive. I have 8GB RAM.
When I first load the page, the image grid looks like this: http://i.imgur.com/BTtkCfY.png
However, once I resize the window or refresh the page, the grid renders correctly and continues to render correctly with each subsequent visit: http://i.imgur.com/w84sXdS.jpg

if you scroll down one or two pages, then scroll back up, some images show up behind others.
