Install Tomcat using the binaries available from the tomcat.apache.org site

Should work on most linux distributions as it doesn’t depednt

• node[‘tc6_download_url’] you can specify a different download url

• node[‘tc6_checksum’] the checksum value for the link you provided

• node[‘tc7_download_url’] same as above

• node[‘tc7_checksum’] the checksum value for the link you provided

• node[‘catalina_home’] path to your tomcat installation

Use tomcat-bin::tomcat7 recipe to install tomcat 7
