Hi, before i got the root easily on my lg k11+ but 4 days ago i got an update with the patch of android (1 march 2020) i tried to do again the root but the application reply to me "failed to gain root, please try again".
How can i get the root again??

After installing assets showing pls reboot your device then showing 'failed try again'

Factory reset the device, sideloaded mtk-easy-su and Magisk Manager 7.1.1, both installed and easy-su says it's gotten root. M.M. doesn't show that magisk is "installed" and root checker doesn't see it as rooted either.

I was using your app to create bootless root of my ZTE A7 phone, and it returned 0 so was successful, however when I try to run Magisk manager it says I need to "upgrade to full Magisk manager to finish the setup." Is this safe to do? What do you think?

I tried to aquire root on my phone, but after installing it showed up a notification about that a reboot is required. Hovewer, nothing happens after a reboot. One time, it showed up a notification and said that the root failed, next time there wasn't any notification. Magisk 20.4 is showed up as installed, but it isn't.

There is no log.

It would be great if this had a supported layout for TV mode. Some crappy chinese TVs can't handle portrait mode applications (display offscreen is common).

I could test on M7322 in that case.

I was thinking about flashing Magisk or maybe even TWRP through the Flashify app, with the root permission that the bootless root app gives me, but i don't know if it will brick my phone (my phone it's a LG K10 Power (M320TV)) and i only have this phone at the moment. So i want to know if someone had already tested this or something similar and what happened.

Então eu gostaria de saber se alguem já testou isso ou algo semelhante e no que deu.

As this is only temporary, it would be nice for it to implement a script somewhere that would auto-run it on boot if we wanted it to. Although thinking, you might need root to do that, and that goes away on reboot...

Side question: I assume that it is unsafe to remount /system as rw?
Assuming the source on xda is correct:
LIMITATIONS
Cannot modify boot partition unless bootloader is unlocked
Cannot modify system/vendor partitions unless boot partition is altered
Only Magisk versions up to 18.1 are currently supported--Magisk 19.x has lost the required 'magisk --startup' functionality

In https://github.com/JunioJsv/mediatek-easy-root/blob/f9a22cd452de4a6f8d96cda183096bd7ff14c045/app/src/main/java/juniojsv/mediatekeasyroot/TryRoot.kt#L42 we're chmod the file that we're just writing to... might be safer to put a try { } finally { } around that code that opens, writes, flushes and closes the file before we try to change the file mode.
