A basic web application built as a weekend challenge set by Makers Academy.

The app is functional for one player to play against the computer and follows the usual rock, paper, scissors rules.

• Rock beats Scissors
• Scissors beats Paper
• Paper beats Rock

• the player can enter their name before the game
• the player is presented the choices (rock, paper and scissors)
• the player can choose one option
• the game will choose a random option
• a winner will be declared

The Makers Academy Marketing Array ( MAMA ) have asked us to provide a game for them. Their daily grind is pretty tough and they need time to steam a little.

Your task is to provide a Rock, Paper, Scissors game for them so they can play on the web with the following user stories:

As a marketeer
So that I can see my name in lights
I would like to register my name before playing an online game

As a marketeer
So that I can enjoy myself away from the daily grind
I would like to be able to play rock/paper/scissors

To download the app:

$ git clone [email protected]:JulieLev/rps-challenge.git
$ cd rps-challenge
$ bundle

To run the app:

$ ruby rps.rb

Then go to localhost:4567 in your browser and follow the instructions.
