Create new
Jaguar should allow users to create a new automata or grammar from scratch.
Change DTD to XML Schema
Jaguar should validate xml files using a XML Schema inside the jar distribution. This will make people happier and will start using it faster (less configuration, directories, mess…)

Change the look of states and arrows
A more common look should be used. Something like latex and tikz style could make students understand it faster since most teachers and books use it.
