dns-tcp-socks-proxy's Issues

[Suggestion] Add IPv6 support.

I think it's the only thing that is missing.

Can someone implement this feature? There is many forks of this project but none with IPv6 support.

Question

HI.

UDP is not supported? because you guys name it as dns-tcp-socks-proxy

Run without root privilege in some cases

When listen_port is set to some value higher than 1024 instead of 53,
when /etc/resolv.conf doesn't need to be modified,
I'd like to run this program as nobody from the start, without ever using root privileges.

flush streams before fork or messages may be written twice

I got many the following messages because on each child exit it will be printed to journald:

Apr 2 15:24:56 lilyforest dns_proxy[24863]: [*] Listening on: 0.0.0.0:5354
Apr 2 15:24:56 lilyforest dns_proxy[24863]: [*] Using SOCKS proxy: 127.0.0.1:7115
Apr 2 15:24:56 lilyforest dns_proxy[24863]: [*] Will drop priviledges to nobody:nobody
Apr 2 15:24:56 lilyforest dns_proxy[24863]: [*] Loaded 10 DNS servers from /etc/dns_proxy/resolv.conf.

See my commit to fix this: lilydjwg@f3a03c8

stop when building

gives such warning

gcc -Wall -Wextra -o dns_proxy dns_proxy.c
dns_proxy.c: In function ‘reaper_handle’:
dns_proxy.c:148:25: warning: unused parameter ‘sig’ [-Wunused-parameter]
 void reaper_handle (int sig) {
                         ^

is it essential or just remove all warnings flags?
