maacs dataset
Hi, where could I get maacs dataset? I see you use it on 04_ExploratoryAnalysis/ggplot2/ggplot2_p2.Rmd, but the file isn't in the repository. I am coming from the Computing for Data Analysis on Coursera, there are a lot of people there trying to find the maacs dataset to try the examples presented on the lectures: https://class.coursera.org/compdata-004/class/search?q=maacs#11-state-query=maacs&11-state-filter=all&11-state-page_num=2
Thanks,
alf.
Wrong resulting picture
Please correct this. Its in the coursera slides as well. kmeansObj2$cluster
needs to be used instead of kmeansObj$cluster
. Like me many people spent time to understand what it was supposed to do, when it is a really simple thing
Heatmaps
set.seed(1234)
dataMatrix <- as.matrix(dataFrame)[sample(1:12), ]
kmeansObj2 <- kmeans(dataMatrix, centers = 3)
par(mfrow = c(1, 2), mar = c(2, 4, 0.1, 0.1))
image(t(dataMatrix)[, nrow(dataMatrix):1], yaxt = "n")
image(t(dataMatrix)[, order(kmeansObj2$cluster)], yaxt = "n")
question about the website template
Hey, I love your blog very much and I have a question about the template you are using to generate the blog HTML pages. For example when I read this http://jtleek.com/modules/01_DataScientistToolbox/02_09_installingRPackages/#6, I found that you can generate HTML with #plus number at the end from me file or Rmd file in here: https://github.com/jtleek/modules/tree/master/01_DataScientistToolbox/02_09_installingRPackages. Could you give me some hint on how to generate these HTML pages from md/Rmd?
Images are wrong for this entire pdf : exploratory analysis --> ggplot2_p2
https://github.com/jtleek/modules/blob/master/04_ExploratoryAnalysis/ggplot2/ggplot2_p2.md
The images correspond to ggplot2_p1.md.
