Several external dependencies that were originally added to speed up development should be removed

• GSON (add as an extension lib)
• AutoValue
• Support Annotations
• Retrolambda

They are like Subjects but without onError or onComplete (they also have toSerialized()) so they can be safer for the purpose of this project:

An upload in progress persists it's status as sending but if the application is prematurely terminated without updating the status of that upload, it remains in the sending state and cannot be retried.
Need to check for dangling uploads immediately on initialization and move them to the error state so they can be retried.
