Take mUSDC, for example:

• underlying has the contract address of the underlying asset
• exchangeRateStored has the exchange rate

If you take the exchange rate, divide it by 10^18, multiply it by the mUSDC balance, divide it by 10^6 (the decimals of the underlying asset, in this case), you'll get the balance of the asset in question and can, then, fetch a quote for it.

The sync tool isn't catching increased ETH balances in the vault. Perhaps there's another method that returns the rewards earned?
