vivecraft_115's Issues

Launcher crashes on startup on ubuntu

Installation runs smoothly through java -jar vivecraft-1.15.2-jrbudda-NONVR-2-r2-installer.jar, but when launching minecraft with the "Vivecraft NonVR 1.15.2" profile the launcher closes, and is immediately replaced with "ERROR Game crashed" (screenshot below).

Checking the launcher logs shows that this exception is causing the crash:

[Info: 2020-06-15 23:22:45.456290180: GameCallbacks.cpp(158)] Launcher/launcher (main) Info Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastException: class jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to class java.net.URLClassLoader (jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader and java.net.URLClassLoader are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap')
	at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.<init>(Launch.java:34)
	at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)

Any clues as to the cause?

Fishing crashes the game

Fishing crashes the game on 1.15.2 Forge NONVR-3-b3 when you catch something, without Forge it doesn't crash but the hook just disappears, no fish is dropped and the fishing rod isn't damaged

Audio not working.

Hello, i have an issue with audio, literally i can't hear any sound of the game, i checked the audio configuration in Windows 10 and tried to reinstall the version, but nothing fix it. Any solution?

Installer Ignores Java 8

I have Java 8 installed and the installer refuses to launch, citing that I need Java 8 installed.

Forge mod compatibility - Controllable

When running Vivecraft 1.15.2 v3 with Forge 31.2.31 and Controllable 0.8.0, it appears to break.

When using Forge 31.2.31 and Controllable 0.8.0, using an Xbox One controller works as expected.

When using an Xbox One controller and also using Vivecraft, the right stick will not initiate turning as expected.
Likewise, the movement directions on the left stick do not line up with the direction faced

  • especially as right stick will not cause player to turn, user would expect pressing forward on the left stick to move in direction user is facing, however it seems to be locked to some other direction.

Attempting to set up use of Xbox One controller for seated play.
Using Oculus Rift S

installer won't run

I tried to install vivecraft 1.15.2 v2. But when I click "run" absolutely nothing happens. It just goes away. I've tried running it as a admidistrator and still nothing. None of my antivirus software are on so I can't figure out what's wrong.

installer wont work

im running 1.15.2
i have java 8 64 bit and
java jdk 16.0.1
it shows complete and infinant loading bar
sd

NonVR Game wont launch on linux

The game will install via java -jar vivecraft-1.15.2-jrbudda-NONVR-2-r1-installer.exe

But when i use the launcher to launch it, the game crashes - it does not leave any logs
(the log window just says waiting for log output) and running the launcher in the terminal gives me this error, which may or may not have anything to do with the mod:

[0421/153748.648712:WARNING:x11_util.cc(1349)] X error received: serial 815, error_code 3 (BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)), request_code 4, minor_code 0 (X_DestroyWindow)

I'm running Manjaro with kernel 5.6.5-3-MANJARO and I've tried various different java versions, including the minecraft built in java, java-10-openjdk, java13-openjdk and java-8-openjdk, it all ends with the exact same result.

I do not know if this works with the VR version as I do not own a VR headset

Game crashes/optifine 1.15 LIB not found

I think everything complies fine and I can run the installer, but it cant download the optifine 1.15.xxxxx_LIB file. It shows up in the launcher but the game crashes when I try to launch it.

VR: Game Screen Freezes On Load

When I load up a MultiMC instance, with vivecraft loaded, the game shows the Mojang loading screen then freezes once it has loaded. The screen mirror on my desktop does load, however, displaying the title screen and tracking the headset

Specs:
Arch Linux x86_64
Kernel: 5.6.6-arch1-1
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X (16) @ 3.900GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER
Driver Version: 440.82
Memory: 32126MiB

Oculus Crashes on world startup

Every time I load into a world, the oculus will crash by saying it can't track the movement of my headset. This is the only game that does this, I've tried solutions that partake to this problem, but no other VR games I play does this, and it seems to be a problem with vivecraft itself, but still might be a problem with my headset, I can't figure this out.
It's not my specs, as I have the recommended for Oculus, and run plenty of other games fine. I have even tried going into the public test channel, that didn't work either.

pvp is completely disabled

loading the plugin at all disables all pvp, regardless of if its set to true or false for any or all 3 of the pvp values. even vanilla vs vanilla players are affected.

Haste and Haste II doesnt effect you when in VR

I discovered this yesterday when making a mob farm and had to mine out a few chunks worth of blocks. Me and a friend put down a beacon to make mining quicker but we quickly came to realize haste only works in VR when using room scale mining, not normal mining (like with the trigger of the VR controller). Does any one else have this issue at all?

Its worth noting, the server I play on has the vivecraft plugin installed, and I have the haste effect when I open the inventory. My non-VR friend also using the vivecraft non-VR client, haste works as it should for him.

Need .jar file to add Vivecraft to a modpack

Hi, I am building a modpack for me and my friends using Twitch's custom modpack feature. I need a .jar file for each mod, but I am unable to find .jar file for Vivcraft, or at least one that is recognized as a mod. Any help would be appreciated. I am running Windows 10, I am creating a 1.15.2 server, and I use Serverminer as my server host. I have used Serverminer with Vivecraft previously, although in vanilla 1.15.2.

Thanks.

Jumping adds a force in the direction of the right hand

Even when the bind is switched to the left hand, jumping adds a force in the direction of the right hand. Further, as far as I can tell, there's no way to disable this force. It's really throwing off my vibe and I can't jump straight up which is needed in many many cases.
