Build a White Label Chat App with Stream and Angular

Tutorial:

Pre-requisites

  • Make sure you have Node.js (version 12 or later) and yarn installed on your machine.

Build instructions

  • Clone this repository and cd into it.
  • Run yarn to install the dependencies
  • See tutorial for notes on how to get the required credentials from Stream.
  • Rename the server/.env.example file to server/.env and update it with your Stream credentials.
  • Run node server.js from within the server directory to start the Node server on port 5500.
  • Run ng serve from the project root to start the Angular app development server. View http://localhost:4200 in your browser.
