the-next-web's Introduction

The Next Web

For this project, we recreated The Next Web's website with fully responsive web design.

This Microverse project allowed us to demonstrate the use of media queries to design webpages that adapt to different screen sizes.

the-next-web's Issues

Team-126-The-Kermits

The project looks really good, it has a great view on mobile and desktop
Most of the things on the websites are basically texts and images some of them could've been links
'Neural' on the nav drops down to another line on a certain size
For good practice, the float has to be cleared on the CSS

Peer to peer code review by team 125 The Elmos

There are things that I can work on to improve the project.

  • I need to add links to the page instead of just embedded images and texts
  • The code will be cleaner if I use variables for repetitive colors
  • CSS will be more beautiful if I use more general classes. e.g classes for- display flex
  • The contribution section in the README.MD needs to be more descriptive
  • The stylelint.json file should not be ignored. The GitHub actions will work faster if this file is in the repo.
