Good to hear from you and nice to see you poking around with two.js :) Blending would be an awesome enhancement! Do you have your example online?
There are a lot of options and figuring out a good way to create and expose this intelligently is the crux of the problem. The easiest way to affect global blending would be to use the canvas renderer and directly manipulate the context via two.renderer.ctx.

Sorry for the delay. Multitone gradients? Check.
Blend modes unfortunately aren't supported yet in SVG, so you'll have to access a canvas' two.renderer.ctx still.
