Not an issue; this is a great resource, so I'm just sharing a bugbear of my own which this script has inspired me to resolve.
Because I use an external text editor:
Switch areas in scripting screen
# Default heights are VIEW_3D=955, TEXT_EDITOR 365
for area in bpy.data.screens['Scripting'].areas:
if area.type == 'VIEW_3D' and area.height < 600:
area.type = 'TEXT_EDITOR'
if area.type == 'TEXT_EDITOR' and area.height > 600:
area.type = 'VIEW_3D'
Load "external_script_stub.py".
version = bpy.app.version_string[:-2]
insert = version + "\\" + version + "\\"
internal_scripts = "C:\\Program Files\\Blender Foundation\\Blender "+insert+"scripts\\templates_py\\"
bpy.ops.text.open(filepath=internal_scripts + "external_script_stub.py", internal=True)
