Errr, well, NSData is what it should return.... of course, the bytes contained in the returned NSData are the result of being run through libz, which is to say, it was compressed.

AFAIK it works, but I haven't tried it in awhile.

I'm experiencing similar issue. The JKSerializeOptionCompress doesn't seem to do anything. The returned NSData is still exactly the same size as before, compression seems not to take place.
