mute setting gets reset for every new game -> write bool to file of whether or not the sound is muted..
need to add functionality to write and read from the stats file of the player's username -> allows multiple players to have separate profiles
the "border" (1px padding on all sides of an imageview) to make the background look like a border scales the image with antialiasing. This looks ugly.
