Creating preferences is difficult in v0.3: On Mac OS X you have to create a plist-file, on Windows you have to insert some registry keys, I don't know what to do on Linux. There have to be a way to create preferences in the application or at least by a command line tool.

Check if Umlauts handled correctly in sender and receiver addresses. Console display has to reflect the outgoing data exactly.

For now, only SMTP with SSL and password authentication is tested. The java mail library supports much more server configurations but it may be necessary to implement some extensions to the configuration.

If a bulk mailing job is interrupted it should be restartable later. EBM has to maintain the actual job and list of sent and unsent messages persistently.

The gui should have following features:

• preview of the message subject (to check, if the right eml file was imported)
• preview of the imported messages
• menubar - with open/create/save mailing job, import eml, import contacts, change preferences
• run multiple jobs
• progress bar in addition to the console output
• console window can be shown or hidden

Check, if personalization is possible. EBM has to analyze the message and find and change the content (plain, rtf, html). Personalization may be done with variable names in the mail template, wich correspond to the fields in the vCards.

Use a standard logging mechanism. The log data should be saved on disk (optional: sys logger), so the user is not forced to copy the log form the console window.
