Rancid tomatillos is a movie app that allows user to search for movies, then click on them to learn more. This can help users decide on a movie to watch!
This was a pair project in mod 3 at Turing School of Software and Design, a seven month bootcamp for web development.
- Clone down this repo to your local computer.
- CD into the project directory.
- In your terminal, run npm install and then npm start
- To view the site run npm start in your terminal (in the project directory foler) and it will open in your browser.
- Gain competency with React fundamentals
- Test React components & asynchronous JS
- Practice refactoring
- Create a multi-page UX using Router
- Working with react, router and cypress efficiently and learning the concepts together while asking question and researching.
- Working collaboratively to finish the project ahead of time
- Having open communication that was reciproacted and taken into consideration as well as prompt communication.
- Being able to work together in a way that was productive and managable and also working solo and handling merge conflicts in a proper and easy manner.
- Architecture was a challenge that we thoroughly researched and by the end of the project we had a much better understanding of how to structure our code.
