master-tile-converter's Issues

Non-compatible roms

"Mortal Kombat" doesn't seem to want to decompress it's sprites at all. This leads me to believe there might be compatibility issues with other games, perhaps we could try to put together a list of ones that don't work with the tool?

No way to change the color palette?

I'm trying to look into the game's code to find supposedly unused sprites in a game, and I can't seem to find them because the color palette does not correctly correlate with the sprites. So I tried importing a new palette from the MEKA emulator, turns out that the default palette is just that. So I went into the palette file and edited it using a word processor hoping that changing the values will change the palette accordingly. Nope, turns out no matter what I changed the color palette stayed the same.

So what's going on? Is it simply not possible to create a custom palette?

Thanks & you know some alternatives?
