Whenever I try to download from HTTPS links I get the following error

[SocketCore.cc:1015] errorCode=1 SSL/TLS handshake failure: unable to get local issuer certificate

How do I get it working?

What I've done was run the scripts in the following order:

1. download.sh
2. build-dep.sh
3. build.sh
4. Copied over the compiled aria2c binary and ran it.

Are we missing any SSL/TLS dependency while compiling?

I use homebrew to install mingw and run the script, then failed to build the zlib on macOS. Could you please provide a version of docker since there is an official DockerFile.

I find mingw-build.sh is enough to build, all dependencies can install by pacman. Even VER_EXPAT=2.2.2 is lower than mingw64/mingw-w64-x86_64-expat 2.2.3-1. So why use mingw-build-dep.sh to install dep from source ? Is this custom configuretion better than default ?

PS: I found error on

./mingw-build.sh: line 32: x86_64-w64-mingw32-strip: command not found

There is no x86_64-w64-mingw32-strip , so just strip aria2c.exe && \ would work on msys2.
